The Surge - Self-titled Debut album

A limited edition of only 100 copies, this is the debut album by The Surge.

Recorded in their hometown of Whangarei at Big Door Studio, The Surge has roots in Whangārei’s late 1970s garage band scene. Two members were part of that scene, while the third in the trio is from the UK. The Surge’s sound has a post punk vibe but with proggy drums. The album was self-released on cd in 2022 & is now on vinyl as the first release by the Vine St Vinyl label.
